Are you an experienced Private Client Tax professional looking to work with high-net-worth individuals, trusts and estates in a role that offers genuine autonomy, complex advisory work and clear career progression?

A well-established and highly regarded professional services firm is looking to appoint a Tax Manager to join its growing Private Client team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with an impressive client portfolio while becoming a trusted adviser on complex tax matters.

The Role

You’ll manage your own portfolio of trusts, estates and private clients, providing a first-class compliance and advisory service while identifying opportunities to add real value.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of trusts, estates and high-net-worth clients.
• Preparing and reviewing trust, estate and personal tax returns.
• Advising on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, succession and estate planning.
• Supporting probate and estate administration from a tax perspective.
• Building lasting relationships with clients and professional advisers.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and assisting with complex advisory work.
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development.

About You

You’ll be a technically strong tax professional with experience in private client taxation and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

You’ll ideally have:

• ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong experience in trusts, estates and private client tax.
• Excellent knowledge of UK trust taxation, IHT and CGT.
• The ability to manage client relationships with confidence and professionalism.
• A proactive approach and excellent communication skills.
