The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the Employment Law department’s future. Based remotely or across their offices in London/West Midlands or North West, you’ll work closely with the management team to drive growth, meet strategic goals, and provide outstanding legal services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a variety of Employment Law matters, including advisory and contentious work.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
- Achieving and exceeding individual billing targets.
- Maintaining compliance with firm policies, including Lexcel standards.
- Proactively identifying and pursuing fee-earning and business development opportunities.
- Keeping abreast of changes in employment legislation and case law to deliver expert advice.
- Contributing to departmental marketing and growth initiatives.
About You
You are a motivated and experienced solicitor with:
- A minimum of 5 years PQE in Employment Law.
- Extensive experience managing both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- A solid understanding of the legal market and a proven ability to drive business development.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and support your team.
- The ability to independently manage a caseload while achieving financial objectives.
- Ideally looking for a consultant role where you are able to develop your own caseload quickly.
