We’re recruiting on behalf of a rewarding and purpose-driven organisation looking for a proactive, compassionate and highly organised Employment Support Person to join their team full-time temporary ongoing basis.

This is a varied and meaningful role supporting a clinician with day-to-day administration, accessibility support, diary management and technology assistance. No two days are the same, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organised and making a genuine difference.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring patients receive the highest level of support while helping the wider service run smoothly and efficiently.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing diaries, appointments and schedules
  • Reading aloud information, notes and documents when required
  • Updating patient records, questionnaires and treatment information on internal systems
  • Preparing and proofreading patient notes and documents
  • Completing referrals and liaising with external organisations
  • Supporting with IT and online systems, including MS Teams and virtual meetings
  • Booking courses, annual leave and managing administration tasks
  • Filing, photocopying, emailing and posting patient correspondence
  • Providing sighted guidance and accessibility support
  • Assisting before and after appointments
  • Driving when required
  • Supporting with general day-to-day tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Organised, adaptable and detail-focused
  • Comfortable using IT systems and Microsoft packages
  • A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Able to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks
  • Patient, warm, reliable and supportive
  • Flexible with working hours
  • In possession of a full UK driving licence – You must be willing to drive the client between sites across the West Midlands.

Desirable Experience

While not essential, the following would be beneficial:

  • Degree educated in any subject
  • Experience supporting people with disabilities or visual impairments
  • Experience within healthcare, mental health, NHS, social work or policing environments
  • An interest in assistive technology and accessibility tools such as JAWS or VoiceOver

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding career where they can genuinely support and empower others every day.

You will ideally be based in Shrewsbury/Telford or surrounding areas and be available to work up to 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm with some flexibility required.

This is a temporary ongoing role with the opportunity offering between £16 & £17 per hour dependent on experience.

This is a hybrid role and you must be willing to travel between sites across the West Midlands.
