Our client based in Shrewsbury is looking to recruit an experienced PA/Office Manager to assist the General Manager of the organisation with administrative support in a small but busy office.

Working for an international, rapidly growing organisation, you will be instrumental in the growth and development of the UK side of the business working very closely with the senior management team.

The role will involve supporting the GM with day-to-day secretarial & admin duties, including but not exclusively the following:

  • Diary management
  • General typing including letters, minutes and reports
  • Policy and process updates and implementation
  • Filing, data entry and database updating

This is a unique opportunity to join a small enthusiastic team for an interesting and varied role.  The successful applicant will be:

  • Efficient.
  • Possess good IT skills and be proficient in Word, Excel and other MS applications.
  • Good typing speed (average 50 – 60 words per minute and a high level of accuracy) for copy typing.
  • Be aware of confidentiality and be discreet.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Good level of education particularly with English and Maths
  • Be able to use own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills

In order to be considered for the role you must have previous experience in a similar position.

This is a permanent full-time position. Working 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday with hybrid working available once training period is completed.

Offering a salary of between £23,000 & £35,000 DOE
