Customer Service Administrator
Full TimeDue to continued growth, our client based in Shrewsbury has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join their growing team. The role involves being a crucial point of contact for any enquiries from nationwide customers and reacting efficiently to their requirements.
Duties
- Monitor assignment of staff, patrol officers, check calls, booking on and off throughout the duty shift by means of time and attendance monitors, telephone and applications.
- Monitor all sites remotely from a security and safety perspective and take action where appropriate.
- When required record all incidents, advise and support, escalate where necessary per SOP’s
- Schedule all planned and reactive duties using the bespoke IT system
- Monitor and action alarm response requests
- Complete an effective handover of control room duties using the correct procedure ensuring all relevant persons particularly control room manager and operations manager, have access to the handover
- Monitoring of remote CCTV to react and alert necessary field operatives to attend incidents.
Experience
- Experience working in a helpdesk/control or call centre/customer advisor environment
- Strong administrative skills
- Able to work alone and part of a team
- Good IT skills
Desirable
- Previous experience of time and attendance systems
- Problem solving
- Logistics coordination experience
This fast-paced position would suit an individual who has previous experience with inbound customer services alongside an aptitude to adapt well to new challenges.

This is a temporary to permanent position offering a starting salary of £20,500 rising to £22,000 per annum after probation period. The position operates on a shift pattern working 6 on 3 off with a mixture of earlies and lates (0600-1400 or 1200-2000) – 37.5 hours per week. You must also be available to cover night shifts during holidays/sickness absence on occasion.
