Account Coordinator
Full TimeDue to an exciting period of continued growth, my client based in Shrewsbury is looking to appoint an Account Coordinator to join their friendly and busy team.
Your responsibility will be to support the Account and Business Development Managers in providing exceptional customer service to all clients:
Being the first point of contact in order to fulfill contract requirements, processing all Enquires and requests, gaining information from the relevant departments, monitoring progress and feeding back to the client, whilst ensuring KPI’s and SLAs are met . Generating subsequent reporting within specific terms.
This is a highly administrative and customer focused role – Experience in both areas is essential!
Key Responsibilities:
– Act as the first-line contact for new customers, dealing with enquiries where possible
– Effectively engage and educate customers on the services provided
– Communicating with the wider team to maximise business opportunities
– Internal account management: Regular customer (and some supplier) contact, maintaining and building relationships. Keeping clients informed of any issues or changes to current arrangements
– Generating system and bespoke reports, weekly and/ or monthly
– Processing customer invoices and ensuring systems are updated
– Managing client’s Company details, including setting up new accounts and updating live account details
– Ensuring bespoke customer requirements and agreed KPIs / SLAs are adhered to.
-Occasional site visits so own transport is required
Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
– Previous experience within a customer service / administration role is essential
– A passion to deliver exceptional customer service is a must
– Excellent communication skills, listening, written and verbal (essential)
– Excellent attention to detail
– Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
– Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Outlook
– Use of CRM system
– You must be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and be proactive and assertive when chasing information.
– Have the ability to deal with people at all levels and feel comfortable potentially handling awkward conversations
– Able to respect the confidentiality of customer and supplier account information
– Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
– Able to work as a part of a team, as well as alone using your own initiative
– Able to learn quickly about the business and demonstrate a willingness to learn

The role is full-time (Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm) working on a temporary contract which after a short probation period will turn permanent offering a starting salary of between £20,000 & £22,000 dependent on experience along with a range of other benefits. Due to the necessity to visit clients on occasion, a full driving licence and your own transport is required.
