H&S / SHE Advisor
Full TimeOur client, a family based business based in Whitchurch, Shropshire is looking to appoint a Health & Safety / SHE Advisor to join their existing team.
This role would suit a confident, approachable, proactive and self-motivated individual who wants to join a super friendly family run organisation in a fantastic location.
Key responsibilities include;
- Developing client relationships, meeting with them and visiting their premises to understand their needs, providing suitable and sensible solutions to assist them in achieving compliance and beyond
- Working with the Business Manager to propose and develop scope of work, timescales, and delivery of SHE documentation, communications and products
- Producing risk assessments, safe systems of work, policies and carrying out audits and inspections on varying workplaces and situations
- Undertaking accident/incident support including investigation, report production, lessons learnt information and trend analysis
- Devise and deliver safety, health and environmental based awareness training and communications to clients, colleagues and business connections
- Promotion of your services and the company via social media streams and business networking to encourage the growth of the business and retention of existing clients
- Managing your continued personal development and implementation of Safety For group policies and processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practice
- NEBOSH General Certificate or higher-level qualification such as Diploma or degree in health and safety management with post qualification experience
- Varying industry experience is desirable, as is IOSH membership
- Valid UK driving licence and confidence to travel across the UK
- Good standard of IT skills, inc. MS Office Suite, social media platforms and cloud-based storage systems are required.

This is a full-time permanent position offering between £25,000 & £38,000 DOE plus expenses & benefits including enhanced holiday & pension, professional membership payments, flexible working and free onsite parking.
