HR Coordinator
Part TimeMy well-established client based in Market Drayton is looking to appoint an experienced HR Coordinator on a permanent part-time (30 hours per week) basis.
The HR Coordinator will help support as well as coordinate activities relating to the HR as well as the Health & Safety administration of the business.
As an experienced HR professional, you will provide expertise and knowledge in a variety of areas including:
- HR administration – Keeping employee records up to date including holiday & absence data.
- Recruitment – managing all the recruitment activities from advertising, interviewing through to inductions.
- Coordinate & maintain training records for all staff including the arrangement of training programs with external companies.
- Support the management team with all first level disciplinary & grievance issues – including note taking and correspondence.
- Monitor staff absences and arrange review meetings if necessary.
- Support the management team with employee development and appraisal processes.
- Keep policy and procedure documents up to date in line with legislation.
- Maintain health & safety reports and liaise with external parties if required.
- Review & highlight any H&S concerns to the management team.
- Be involved in H&S audits
- Support with the completion of Risk/COSHH Assessments
You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be an organised, self-motivated, and conscientious individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion for all things HR.
You must be able to develop strong working relationships with peers and demonstrate a friendly and approachable personality who is able to promote the ethics and values of the company.
You must be confident to work both on your own and as part of a team and not be afraid to collaborate with other departments or outside agencies to work on projects.
Ideally you will possess a CIPD level 3 or above and/or an IOSH H&S qualification, however these are not essential as support and training will be in place.
